FURKA FILMS is essentially Eva Cvijanovic. Eva developed a love for cinema, drawing and sculpture at a young age and pursued those passions through different forms of animation, translating her skills into storytelling. Shortly after graduating with a BFA in Film Animation from Concordia University, she was fortunate to work as a prop and set artist on a Clyde Henry production while making her first independent film, Once Upon a Many Time. After a few years of freelancing, she made the cut of the seventh edition of NFB's Hothouse program and has since then worked as an animator and illustrator on diverse projects including documentaries, plays and video games. Eva's latest independent film, Seasick has premiered in 2013 at TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) and is still playing at festivals around the world.
